Dear supporters of the performing arts,
Welcome to another exciting season of M-CHS Theatre! Our 2012-2013
season has something for everyone, and we’re excited to announce the addition of a fourth show this season. We had
so much fun last year with our productions of Seussical the Musical,
The Foreigner, and the One Act Festival, that
we decided to see if we could fit one more show into the mix. Our theme this year is “A New Deal” in reference to
the era in which each of our shows are set—the late 1930s and early 1940s. We’re kicking things off early with the
dark comedy classic Arsenic and Old Lace in October. Then we’re bringing the Shakespearean classic of murder, pride,
and insanity, Macbeth, to the stage in a way you’ve never seen it before. Once again, the spring will welcome student
writers and directors to the stage with the One Act Festival, and finally we will round out the season with the beloved
family musical, Annie. So, come journey with us back to a time when our nation was rising from the ashes and creating
greatness - “A New Deal!”
